MODE Magazine is an online lifestyle and culture publication established and owned by NOIR The Agency Ltd. in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). Similarly to NOIR The Agency; MODE Magazine was inspired by the need for more diversity in New Zealand media.

As our Editor-in-Chief (and Founder/Director of NOIR The Agency) Chichi Nyangoni states in the Editor's Letter:

“MODE will have a strong focus on diversity, inclusion and sharing the perspectives of those our society often disregard or ignore. The perspectives of people like myself; people who are ready to share themselves with the world.”

MODE Magazine will aspire to tell the stories of artists, creatives and all people who need a platform. A platform to be heard and to bring about discourse on aspects of life in Aotearoa and beyond. We have exclusive photoshoots, original articles, interviews with multiple designers, artists, musicians and photographers from Aotearoa and beyond.

The first issue; The Culture Edition, was published in May, 2022 featuring 3 in 1 magazine covers. The first cover featuring Nahko from Nahko And Medicine For The People who we conducted an exclusive interview with us. The second cover showcasing our in-house photoshoot featuring diverse models from NOIR The Agency and the third cover featuring Grime Artist; King Bushido. The magazine will publish a new issue biannually, which will be free to read online. You can also find our social media accounts in our menu above, so follow us there for regular content!
